WesMex International Small Boat Regatta

Since its inaugural event in February 2006, the WesMex Regatta has become Banderas Bay's premier small boat event and one of the most important youth sailing events in Mexico. As one of two "Signature Regattas" hosted by the Vallarta Yacht Club, it is sanctioned by the Mexico Sailing Federation, AMVCO, ILCA Mexico, and iQFoil. This event serves as a key qualifier for the Optimist North Americans, Optimist World Championship, and ILCA Youth World Championships.

Banderas Bay Regatta XXXIII

Now in it's 33rd year, the Regata Interncional Bahia de Banderas (BBR) is one of the most famous cruiser's regatta on the Pacific coast. The event is for boats of just about any size, but is focussed on cruising boats. It features three days of friendly, low pressure racing  on Beautiful Banderas Bay, and of course the epic parties that the event is famous for.

BBR Race Day 1 - After Party

Day 1 is in the books—now it’s time to celebrate!

Join us at VYC for the After Race Party starting at 6:00 PM with live music, great vibes, and stories from the day on the water. Day 2 is where your racing skills and performance really count! After the races, head to VYC to celebrate and compare strategies and celebrate victories. BBR Awards Beach Party!

Celebrate all of the competitors and winners at the VYC Beach Party Awards Ceremony at Paradise Village Beach, starting at 6:00 PM!
